[font=Arial]This Sunday's match against Carshalton is the return leg of the close encounter between the two clubs less than 2 weeks ago. Colliers Wood can go top of the table again with a win, but anything apart from a win would see our 100% home record go away. So far this season we have played 3 games at home and won the all of them scoring 15 and conceeding 7. Our away form hasnt been so good playing 5, conceeding 14, scoring 9. We can see that we take an advantage playing at home.

After last weeks revelation that in our next match after this we will be playing in our brand new away kit, this boys will want to show their all before the big match against Roehampton Rangers on November 29th at Dover House Road.

Surrey County Cup - 08/11/09 - Mychett Athletic FC VS Colliers Wood United FC

[font=Arial]The Surrey County Youth Cup is the biggest cup of the year, this gives every team in the county the chance to pit themselves against each other. Teams from many different leagues play in single knockout rounds to eventualy find a winner. This week sees Colliers Wood Utd playing away to Mytchett Athletic FC, in the 'woods' first ever County Cup match.

The opposition are in the second division in their league and have played 5, Won 3, Drew 1 and Lost 1. We in comparison are 3 Divisions behind them and many seasons behind them aswell. Our boys have only been playing together for the past year, where as Mytchett Athletic FC start their teams at Under 8 football. This is why we expect this match to be very tough.

Our main aim this season is our league title, we know that we can come 1st in our league if we try and we see this Cup match as a game to prepare for the upcoming home match against Carshalton. After the match, the opposition have arranged some lunch for our boys to enjoy with their boys. We understand that this is likely to be general party food (sausage rolls, sandwhiches and drinks), which would be very thoughtful of them as we would hope that most players can stay for the extra 30 minutes or so to show our appreciation.

This Sunday is Rememberence Sunday and we will be holding a 1 minute silence before the match.
